Smaller Earth Announce Appointees to New EOT Trustee Board
Following the news of becoming an employee-owned trust, Smaller Earth is delighted to announce the Trustees appointed to oversee the long-term direction of the business.
The Trustees ensure that, as an employee-owned trust, the leadership decisions align with the employees' best interests and the business's long-term future. This includes, but is not limited to, contributing to strategic planning, having a say in major business decisions, and much more.
This means that the Trustee Board is hugely influential in bringing the opinions and feelings of every employee into these important conversations, displaying that Smaller Earth staff genuinely have a say in shaping the future of the business they contribute to.
To meet legal requirements, the Smaller Earth Trustee Board comprises of independent Trustees, an Employee Representative, and representatives of the shareholders leaving the business. This new Trustee Board has officially accepted its roles and had its first meeting on November 18.
